VIEW: Our Mar Yena white wine has a bright, clean, straw yellow color with subtle greenish reflections.
NOSE: The nose highlights aromas of peach fruit, white flowers such as jasmine, along with spicy touches of wood.
MOUTH: It is a wine with a marked personality, with an enveloping entry that gives way to a long, fresh, smooth and mineral journey. With a lot of body and a greasy texture, at the same time some balanced saline touches due to its proximity to the Atlantic Ocean.
Our Mar Yena white wine reflects tradition, good work and passion, which together with a grape of Andalusian origin based in the heart of the Doñana National Park, a few kilometers from the Atlantic Ocean, makes this wine excellent.
Regarding its elaboration, the harvest is carried out at dawn and in 20 kg boxes to ensure that the grape arrives in the best conditions to the winery, where it is processed. Subsequently, it undergoes a cold racking for 24 hours, in order to eliminate possible sludge and impurities. After those 24 hours, it ferments in stainless steel with a controlled temperature and in the final phase of fermentation it is transferred to new French oak barrels and acacia lid that gives it a toasted touch, but respecting the fruit of the variety where the fermentation ends and then an aging is carried out on fine lees.
